My CV (Written in LaTeX)

I wanted to add an extra edge to my sales pitch when looking for a new job so I decided to write my CV using the LaTeX language.

This language is new to me and although I have been aware of it for a while now I have not sat down and written any documents using it.

So I initially started to research things online, I found a fairly large amount of help and tutorials which was useful.

I started writing my CV using vim but after a while I realised that a dedicated LaTeX editor would be more suited to the task so I decided to use Kile, an open source Integrated LaTeX Environment.

Using Kile it was quite easy to get my details written up and being able to quickly preview my work helped was a nice feature.

In order to get the correct layout and format for my CV I used the resume package and I was able to add some personal touches once I was a little more comfortable with the language.

I have attached the PDF copy of my CV as well as the LaTeX source. A screen shot illustrating this can also be seen below.
