I have over 15 years of experience working with a variety of distributed systems within telecommunications and more predominantly the oil and gas sector. A large proportion of my career to date has been spent working in a client-facing role. I have been successful in building relationships and gaining both the trust and confidence of my clients through my dedication and perseverance.

  • Subject Matter Expert covering the operational aspects of the company’s software and technical services.
  • Adaptable and motivated, often initiating a range of complex and critical job tasks for the company.
  • Responsible for specific complex operational projects, a key point of contact for new functionality and enhancements
  • Implements the link between client, support and development, and is the primary representative for the support function within the software design, development, test and implementation process.
  • Using my experience and knowledge I work writing the test and development process to:
    • Act as the primary contact for the client and support issues;
    • Development of support tools and scripts;
    • Participate in Design reviews, Development meetings, Sprint Planning and Review Meetings;
    • Testing - including the development of test cases and usability appraisal

  • Often required to take a lead role in complex client operations involving the analysis of requirements and simulation of operational set-ups and configurations prior to infield implementation.
  • Often takes a lead role in new product areas working with the development teams to define and analyse functional requirements and advise on operation and usability design.

  • Working in challenging environments with limited backup support.
  • Infield Training and support during complex seismic surveys such as WAZ, 3D undershoots, and 4D undershoots.
  • Working with RF networks, including installation and configuration for ship-to-ship communications data communication integration
  • interfacing ships instrumentation into the various navigation acquisition systems, Cable terminating including RS232, RS422, Cat5, LMR400, LMR600 and coax cables.
